Perhaps current projects are winding down and it’s time to cement yourself in Tools Programming, shaping the industry’s vision for upcoming, next-generation, online environments?

You’ll be hard pressed to find a team and studio more passionate about ‘pinging the universe’ for games! With excellent backing and a team of outstanding developers - veterans of the industry – your Tools Programmer knowledge will contribute heavily to core technology that’s reshaping the online immersive experiences for console and PC.

What you’ll do;

  • Develop Tools – from initial design to support day-to-day with end clients in games
  • Document your workflows in order to easily relay knowledge to both developers and end users
  • Research bleeding-edge technology, improving current systems

It’d be great if you have;

  • 2 years professional exposure in a similar position
  • Strong C# and C++ coding ability
  • Confidence and proficiency in Python, or a similar scripting language
  • Familiarity with version control tools, git, perforce, mercurial
  • Pro-active drive to provide solutions, collaborate in a team, champion a shared vision to improve technology for video games

Desirable skills include;

  • Hands-on experience in NoSQL and SQL databases
  • Development for and on Linux platforms
  • Cross-platform desktop app development; and
  • Experience in industry-typical game engines – Unreal Engine, Unity, Lumberyard
