Tools Programmer - C++ C# .NET

A unique independent studio in Manchester is looking to expand its highly experienced team by hiring a Tools Programmer with C++ and C# .Net to work on developing and maintaining all their internal development tools and UI frameworks.

Requirements:

UI and tool design expertise

C++ general expertise

Minimum 1 released title with C# and .NET experience.

Must be able to assess and appraise workflow and highlight improvements before implementing to a high standard

Prior experience in UI frameworks (WPF, Winforms, Qt, etc.).

The ability to iterate and improve features

Experience in games that have delivered complex game logic, UI, narrative and inventory systems is preferred

Previous titles we have worked on have received high metacritic scores over 77 and 78 respectively. They are currently working on an incredible AAA cross platform title, with more exciting projects in the pipeline.

The Studio prides itself on a good work/life balance, with flexible working around core hours in a friendly and relaxed environment. They are based just 5 minutes away from the vibrant Manchester city centre, with excellent transport links, and free parking in the large car park next to the building. Free weekly exercise classes are available for all staff, including Yoga and Boot Camp.

 

Both permanent and contract positions are available, day rate / salary dependent on experience
