Amiqus have partnered with an exciting AAA games development studio based in the Midlands, who are looking to hire a talented Tools Programmer to join their growing team.

The studio has released some of the highest grossing games in the console market and are looking for someone to help push the quality bar and own the tools development for their new title currently in development. 

As the Tools Programmer, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Technical Director to define the tools strategies of the studio. You will be working on a brand-new AAA project and will work closely with Design and Art teams, helping create, manage and improve current tool sets.    

The studio is working on a new unique project, which they’re aiming to dominate its genre and create its own gameplay style in the process. The role will allow you to be hands-on, with some mentoring responsibilities and the chance to be creative with the tools you develop for the team. 

You’ll help identify areas for improvement and implement tools and processes to overcome potential ‘deadline stoppers’, playing a massive part in building a complex mechanic driven title. 


  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role  
  • Experience with C#
  • Experience in the games industry preferred but not essential 
  • Experience of asset pipeline design and implementation
  • Good problem-solving nature
