UE4 Artist with experience of Blueprints to work with the UK's leading television facility based at the heart of MediaCityUK

The Studios and their specialist post production services are used to make everything from popular television shows, including the award-winning drama Happy Valley, prime-time spectacular The Voice, iconic children’s favourite Blue Peter and the sports fan’s essential Match of the Day - to outstanding VFX based commercials and corporate videos for leading brands.

They currently have a requirement for a UE4 Artist to join their growing studio working alongside the existing VFX team responsible for the integration of 3D assets into a UE4 based broadcast system delivering projects for flagship network programmes. Working alongside the BBC this contract role will be initially for 3 months working as part of their pitch team and upon successful completion of the key R&D stage continued work for the final project will move into the majority of 2018 and contain a combination of virtual and augmented studio sets, data driven graphics, presenter touchscreen control and TV gallery interface.

You will be a talented and experienced self-starter who is capable of delivering against tight deadlines. You will have the ability to work well within a team but also be confident enough to make design decisions on your own. A creative individual who can work to brief but also add their own artistic flare and push the boundaries of technology.

Unreal Engine 4 is the core skill and this should be supplemented with Blueprint experience. A knowledge of Maya and / or Cinema 4D would be beneficial and a love of all things VFX and immersive technology would help too. Ideally you will have several years’ experience working at mid to senior level, preferably developing photorealistic interior environments, delivering exceptional work to high profile clients.
