We're in search of a UI Artist to join our client's team in creating a diverse range of captivating video game experiences! Whether you prefer remote work or the inspiring atmosphere of their coastal office in the lively city of Brighton and Hove, you'll find a welcoming and inclusive culture.
As a UI Artist, you'll play a key role, collaborating on various other games projects across different teams. Your daily tasks will involve leveraging your previous UI experience and graphic design expertise to create and implement polished and inviting user interface visuals. You'll work closely with the Lead UI Artist and Art Director, supporting existing UI styles while contributing to the development of new ones.
If you possess passion, unbridled enthusiasm, distinctive ideas, and fearless audacity, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the specified skills and experience criteria. We value diversity and creativity!
Please note that we can only consider applicants who are UK residents or hold a valid UK work permit.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable game UI design experience showcased in an online portfolio, highlighting strong graphic design, typography, and iconography skills.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Unity.
- Experience in guiding a game's user interface from concept to final game-ready artwork in Unity.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple projects.
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to maintain existing styles and explore exciting new visual directions.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in shipping games on consoles.
- Motion graphics expertise.
- 2D art skills.
This role is a Junior position, aimed at those with 1-2 years experience in the industry, looking for something new! If you don't have games experience, we can't consider your application at this time.
