A North East based Games studio are currently looking for a UI Artist to work on a range of new titles on Console and VR Platforms.
The studio is renowned in the Console/VR industry for creating high end games and have continually set the bar in the market on both single and multiplayer titles.
Your first mission while working at the studio, will be to design and create UI assets that the player will interact with for a range of titles, such as the graphical front-end, menus, icons and buttons. You will also be tasked with designing the user experience (UX) to each feature in the game and will work very closely with the Art Director on this. You will be up to date with present console/PC trends and enjoy playing and making games. The ideal candidate will understand the console market and have good knowledge of what works and what doesn’t.
This role can offer this UI Artist a chance to own quite a large area of the project and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team, where they can get involved with concept phases and really make a difference on the final output. The ideal candidate will enjoy challenging themselves and enjoy prototyping a range of designs and testing which ones work the best.
There is a competitive salary on offer, including exclusive studio benefits, relocation assistance and the chance to work in an amazing city centre location. This role is remote working initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so or can be 100% remote if needed.
