We're working for one of the UK's most creative and innovative Mobile Game Developers. They're best known for their hugely successful Idle Games, although they do create various types of games. They also have a claim to fame that one of their games was famously the 10th Billion App downloaded on the Apple App Store! The have a small team of passionate and dedicated game developers, artists and designers; but they're growing and want to hire a new Unity Developer to help them create the games they're concepting. Interestingly, everyone gets involved with Game ideas at this studio, it's a really cool feature and plenty of 'non-designers' have had their ideas come to life.

The team are based in the grounds of a stately home in Cirencester (no, honestly), and you're welcome to join them there once C-19 restrictions are over, however - if you're based in the UK and can get to the studio a few times a month for meetings, you are able to work remotely. Either way, the studio will help with either relocation or shipping some equipment to you.

To be considered for the role, we'd be looking for:

  • You've recently held a role creating mobile game content using Unity C#
  • Full understanding of the Unity API
  • Strong knowledge of the C# programming language
  • Some affinity with vector and matrix math is a definite bonus
  • Strong sense of game design for usability and great user experience
  • Collaborative and inclusive communication style
  • Passion for games

This is a rare opportunity to join a studio which really prioritizes their team and as a result, they make some fantastic titles. The studio was recently acquired by a large publishing company; so you get the real 'start-up' sense which enables the team to be super creative and pragmatic - but you know you're employment is stable and long-term. Best of both worlds!

Salary is £25,000-£35,000 plus benefits.
