We have partnered with an exciting video games studio based in London, who require a Unity Developer to work on their debut title.

The studio was founded by AAA Veterans who have worked on some of the most detailed and narrative heavy titles in the console market and bring some amazing experience to the studio.

As the Developer in this team, your primary responsibility will be to work closely with the Technical Director to define the tools strategies of the studio. You will be working on a brand-new project and will work closely with Design and Art teams, helping create, manage and improve current tool sets. The ideal candidate will enjoy creating tools to help solve pipeline problems, while also assisting with aspects such as UI and gameplay.

The studio is working on a new unique project, which they’re aiming to dominate its genre and create its own gameplay style in the process. You’ll help identify areas for improvement and implement tools and processes to overcome potential ‘deadline stoppers’, playing a massive part in building this ambitious new title.

This role can be either 100% remote working from any location in the UK or remote initially with a view to work on site when restrictions ease.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Released games on Console, PC or Mobile platforms
  • Experience with C# and scripting languages like Python (or similar)
  • Good problem-solving nature
  • Hands on experience with Unity would be a bonus
  • An interest in storytelling, narrative heavy action genres
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with industry veterans who have collectively released some of the best-selling and well-known games in the world. To apply for this role, please send your CV to will.hudson@amiqus.com
