A South East based Games studio are currently looking for a Unity Developer to work on a range of new titles on Console and PC platforms.
The studio is renowned in the Console/PC industry for creating fun, easy to play / hard to master games, with their debut title topping charts with rave reviews from players and critics alike.
This position can offer this developer a chance to own quite a large area of the project and would suit someone who enjoys working in a small team and in a fast-paced environment. This would suit a generalist programmer who enjoys a flat structure, where they can get involved with different disciplines of programming on the creative and technical side and assist with rapid prototyping in the process.
The role will promote freedom in your work style and will allow you to be creative with your code in an open-plan environment, where ideas are commonly contributed, and everyone has an input on the project.
In return the studio can offer a competitive salary, pension, relocation assistance and other amazing studio benefits such as gym/shop/technology discounts. Also, the chance to work with games industry veterans who have a great track record of delivering high profile successful projects.
This role is remote working initially with a view to work on site when it’s safe to do so or can be 100% remote if that suits your preference, although you must be UK based for the 100% remote working option.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in the games industry
- Released at least 1 project on PC, Console, Mobile or VR platforms
- Experience with multiple disciplines of programming such as Gameplay, UI, Tools etc
- Good working knowledge of C# and Unity 3D
- Good C++ skills would be a bonus
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a studio who are working on amazing games, which have a great reputation in the games community and have been bought/downloaded and played by audiences in the high millions. To apply please send your CV to will.hudson@amiqus.com
