We're working with a small independent Game Developer based in Guildford, UK. They're a well known and respected developer who have made a series of premium mobile and console titles centered around intricate and beautifully crafted puzzle games. They have several games in this franchise which continue to extremely popular. They have recently developed one of their titles for Virtual Reality. They are looking for a Unity Developer to help them keep their catalogue of games updated and optimised, they also want someone who can begin the project of porting their previous titles to new platforms. As a small team of only 16, there will be a chance to work on other areas, but this is the main driver behind this hire. This is a challenge and rewarding project.
To be considered for the role, we'd love to see:
- Games Industry experience, ideally on one shipped title
- In-depth knowledge of the Unity 3D engine and C#
- Porting/Maintenance experience is useful, but not essential
- Undeniable passion for games and game development
This role can be started remotely (within UK timezone), but will eventually be based completely onsite at their studio in Guildford. If you're successful in applying, you can expect the following benefits:
