Are you an experienced game developer looking for impact and to lead the way in a new category of games? Then let’s talk!

We know that there is a huge opportunity in augmented reality mobile games and our years of experience in AR means that we can seize it! We are building social camera games for a gen Z audience: games that let players create fun video content to share with with their friends. But… we need you to complete the dream-team and make our good games GREAT!

You will be an integral part of the team, building our suite of games from the ground up - from ideation through to launch and iteration. Your decisions will play a key role in shaping the future of the company so get ready to have a lot of autonomy.

Maybe you have a degree in engineering, maybe you don’t. Tbh we aren’t that bothered about formal qualifications, we prefer you to have passion, experience and curiosity!

Our dream game developer:

  • Is kind, loves animals and is partial to the odd pint / G+T / fanta with the team
  • 3+ years in Unity development for mobile (indie or AAA are both ok!)
  • Able to prototype and implement features / gameplay / UI etc
  • Collaborate with designers to ideate and iterate on new game / feature concepts
  • Working knowledge of source control, namely Git.
  • Team player that can coach and collaborate with other engineers
  • Is autonomous, flexible and loves problem solving
  • Explores creative solutions and doesn’t always need to follow the book
  • Loves to break the rules

Bonus points for:

  • F2P games experience
  • Has worked on or created a successful game with strong customer engagement + retention from idea to launch
  • Experience in multiplayer games
  • Experience in games with a strong link to social media
  • Experience in AR
  • Experience in mobile development (iOS or Android).
  • Other skills such as UX/UI design, art

Our game developer will be a very special fishy in this cold, cold ocean, so this position includes equity in the business. Please only apply if you have minimum 3 years working in the games industry as a game developer
