We are currently working with the awesome people at NSC Creative as they look to hire an experienced Unity Developer to join their team. The position is responsible for the creation of systems, mechanics and tools for various real-time and pre-rendered projects for internally generated prototypes, IP and for external clients. The primary platforms for projects will be the augmented and virtual reality aspects of mobile and desktop. Other projects may include standard non-immersive devices as required by the needs of the business and it’s clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Unity engine and the relevant programming languages to create gameplay mechanics, interactive elements and systems for real-time projects.
  • Creation of various tools to help developers and artists with technical aspects of immersive and standard production.
  • Performing R&D in order to explore gaming and interactive concepts for AR, VR, MR and Fulldome planetarium environments and interactive exhibitions.
  • Assisting Senior Developer and Producer in quantifying workload in order to accurately plan sprints as part of an agile workflow.
  • Work alongside Producers and Senior Developers to ensure that each project is executed to the highest standard/quality and delivered on time.
  • Using version control architectures for backing up, pushing and pulling work
