A London based console studio are currently looking to expand on their recent BAFTA winning success and require a VFX Artist to work on their new IP.

The studio founders come with a great reputation of producing high selling games and would like this trend to continue for their new title. 

The studio requires this person to work closely with the Art Director and Lead Technical Artist in defining the vision of the title. Your primary role will be to revamp, create and implement the VFX components for this title that relies heavily on realism. You will also get involved with supporting lighting artists on the game environments and collaborate with other members of the team in further generating the realism to the game. 

This role will offer you a position of influence and close communication with the Co-Founders of the studio to help contribute to such an important part of the look and feel of the game. 

The studio will provide all the developments kits, software licenses and can offer 100% remote working, with some meetings in their Central London office when required. This is a 3 month initial FTC with the possibility of being extended.   

Requirements

  • Experience as a VFX Artist in the games industry 
  • One published game as a VFX artist on either PC/Console (preferred)
  • An interest in action genres
  • Experience with Maya and Photoshop 
  • Experience with Unreal 4
  • Strong portfolio with VFX Examples
