A North East based Games studio are currently looking for a Cinematic Video Artist to work on a range of new titles on Console and VR Platforms – and 2 major box office IP’s. The studio is renowned in the VR industry for creating high end games and have continually set the bar in the market on both single and multiplayer titles. 

In this role, you will be responsible for game trailers, key video content and developing best practice game capture pipelines and procedures for the company. Expect to be working on in-engine cinematic sequences, scene assembly, problem-solving and troubleshooting in Unity. You’ll Conceptualize, storyboard capture, edit and deliver game trailers and key video content, all whilst owning and managing the game capture pipeline across VR and non-VR games.

To be considered, we would like to see:

  • Ability to work in or relocate to the North East
  • 2+ years experience in a games / film cinematics role or similar
  • Confident with Adobe Premiere, Unity & Unity Timeline
  • Proficient with handling in-engine VFX, Animation, Assets, Texturing and Camera systems
  • Understand and maintain the cinematic style of each title
  • Understanding of composition, cameras, lighting, editing, and pacing
  • Strong project and time management skills across simultaneous projects, prioritizing accordingly
  • Excellent team skills
  • A creative mindset and a self-starter

    It’s a bonus if…
  • Your work has been published as part of the key marketing assets for a game (or have equivalent experience)
  • You have knowledge of or willingness to learn asset pipelines from 3D software into Unity
  • You have the ability to generate placeholder animation or adapt pre-existing keyframed animation
