We have questions...
First of all we need to get to know you and understand all about your studio, your product or service and what’s important to you. Forgive us for asking lots of questions but we need to get this right! You’ll have a dedicated consultant to work closely with you and build the relationship so that things go smoothly, no matter the challenge. Role qualification begins the process with a full discussion with the hirer. So much of what is required is not possible to list in the job description so we take care at this stage to listen and understand what is needed, offering initial market knowledge and discussing approaches to generate interest and target as many appropriate sources of candidates as necessary. This level of client consultation is on-going throughout.
Central to our service is of course identifying, engaging with and attracting the right candidates for you. Where direct client sourcing techniques or advertising will attract active candidates, our consultants are relentless networkers and are trained to continually identify, approach and attract the most in-demand candidates who, by definition are likely to be employed elsewhere. There are significant challenges around attracting these individuals to a new opportunity and it requires us to have highly skilled consultants to approach and influence them.
On your behalf, our experienced team go to market to attract the widest and most diverse talent pool of exceptional candidates for you. We interview and assess across the board to ensure that everyone you receive from us is right for your role and able to thrive in your team.
Our experienced team and our extensive and established candidate networks, driven by our brand and reputation (including a 60,000 strong LinkedIn Careers in Games group) enable us to place over 80% of our candidates from our approach-based recruitment, finding talented people who may not have been visible to our clients or our competitors without this level of investment.
Throughout the hiring process, clients can expect market insight and regular updates as to progress, identifying blockers and presenting solutions. Screening is thorough, to both qualify the candidate’s suitability and also to develop a deep professional relationship which serves to maximise the opportunity for a successful outcome. CV presentation is a ‘whole story’ submission of each candidate, and provides a qualitative, honest view from the consultants about their suitability for the role.
Once interviews are underway, a key element is that we inform all parties at each stage of the process. This is not only in relation to simple things like diary scheduling, but relates to the much deeper level situation that the candidate is in. Any changes in motivations or priorities for the candidate are communicated. We then manage the process through feedback, arranging interviews, coordinating any tests until you're ready to make a decision.
Right through to closing offer stage, our Consultants can be trusted to not only drive the recruitment process in line with the client’s needs, but also to positively influence the candidate towards the opportunity being presented by you.
