Assistant Producer

YOKUTO - ASSISTANT PRODUCER 

We are a small but growing mobile game studio dedicated to crafting beautiful sports games.  With the critical acclaim and commercial success of our first game, we proved the demand for high quality sports games and now our award-winning Studio is looking for people to join the team, who are also passionate in the belief that you can make well-crafted and engaging sports games on mobile.

The Junior Producer role is new to Yakuto, but one we believe will have a real impact on all aspects of our games.  You will take responsibility for quality assurance, community management and social media and will also regularly test the game to approve new features and find bugs, working with the Producer to then schedule work. 

Essential to this role is being the point of contact for the players and cultivating a dynamic relationship with our community, then using your understanding of the community feedback and your knowledge of the game to help the team continue its development.  Fully engaged with social media, connected with the players and with your deep knowledge of the game, you will be a vital link between the community and the team.  As a Producer at Yakuto, you will help the game from initial concept, delivery, to live-ops, never losing sight of the smallest detail or the bigger picture.

To make a real difference, we need someone with excellent communications skills, both in person and when communicating online.  Of course, you will be social media savvy. You will also need to be very organised and able to work calmly under pressure to manage the varied demands of this role.  We want people proactive in identifying opportunities to make a difference for the team and players and driven to grow their skills as a Producer.  You do not have to have previous games experience for this role, but you are likely to be degree educated, must be enthusiastic about mobile games and with the ambition to become a Producer in games.  A passion for different sports will also be very helpful!
