Opportunity for a Backend Developer, PHP, Laravel, Nodejs to join this leader in the sports technology industry.
This developer offers innovative solutions for training, performance analysis, and talent identification to professional clubs and players at home. They deliver realtime spatial data for entertainment and sports, allowing clubs, professional athletes and fans at home to unlock experiences never before possible.
Job Summary:
They are seeking a skilled and experienced mid-level backend developer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing their existing code base while actively contributing to the design and development of upcoming projects.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop the existing code base with a focus on backend development.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new projects.
- Utilise PHP and Laravel frameworks for development tasks.
- Occasionally, make use of frontend technologies to ensure seamless integration
Skills and Qualifications:
- Mid-level proficiency in PHP development.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Laravel.
- Skills in database design and management.
- Familiarity with services and APIs from cloud providers (AWS, Cloudflare, Google Cloud).
- Experience in backend development using PHP outside of Laravel.
- Experience with NodeJS
Bonus attributes:
- Experience in ReactJS
- Experience with Electron
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerisation.
- Familiarity with maintaining Linux systems.
- Experience in dev-ops (predominantly CI/CD).
- Professional or personal experience working with:
- Video streaming (HLS, DASH, RTMP, SRT, WebRTC).
- Web sockets or Socket.IO
- Computer Vision
- Unity
- Unreal Engine
- Swift and Swift UI
