Are you an Environment Artist with a real creative flair? Do you enjoy building new, immersive worlds? Are looking for an opportunity where you will have a real impact on new titles? If your answer is yes, then Amiqus have the perfect role for you! 

We’ve partnered with an amazing development studio based in Manchester in their search for an Environment Artist to join their growing art team. They’re recognised as a superb ‘work for hire’ studio within the games industry and have shipped several of their own titles to critical acclaim. They’re now ramping up on development for several exciting projects so it’s a really exciting time to join. 

They’re looking for an experienced environment artists so you’ll need to have a good eye for composition and an expertise in building full environments that really tell a story. Ideally you’ll have shipped one title from start to completion. 

You’ll join a small but talented art team so you’ll have a lot of responsibility of your own work that will give you’re the opportunity to make a real impact. 

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 shipped title or 1-2 years experience in games.
A portfolio that demonstrates a wide variety of realistic and stylised work.
An affinity with industry standard tools: 3DS Max, Maya, Photoshop etc.
Unity experience is essential and experience with UE4 is desirable. 

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join a studio who are working on some of the most exciting console and VR/AR projects. They have strong relationships with some of the top game publishers in the world as well as a highly experienced development team in place from AAA backgrounds.
