We are working with an award-winning, premium software engineering company, who design, develop and deliver video game services to their AAA clients.
Based in Cheshire, they are part of the Keywords global network of game development services studios and have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Production to join their dynamic Senior Management Team. This role will see you as one of the key decision makers within the studio.
They have been actively engaged in the computer games development industry for the past 20+ years, with experience on many platforms including iOS, Mac, Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita and PC/Steam.

As their Head of Production, you will bring your absolute passion for games and experience to this role and get stuck in with the team. You will be joining people that deliver outstanding work without the crunch!
Your Role:
- Lead and manage the growth of the production department. You are an integral decision maker for the studio
- Lead, define and establish clear and consistent processes across the varied portfolio of projects
- Successfully manage and motivate your team with career development and recruitment drives
- Successfully work with other department heads, clients and suppliers to forge strong relationships
- Strive towards excellence in game production people and process across all game disciplines – Demonstrate your absolute passion for the games industry!!
Your Essentials:
- Proven experience in video games production and/or project management (10 years+)
- Experience in AAA game production and delivering high profile projects
- Experience working with growing/scaling
- Involvement with recruitment processes and direct management
- Working with production tools, processes and methodologies. Experience with Jira and Confluence (useful but not essential)
- A confident communicator with a motivating and pro-active approach
